In our press release about the Open Access week we want to mention the number of countries involved.

Does anyone know how many?

I can only speak for New Zealand - AUT University, and University of Auckland definitely.

Hi Annemiek:

Here in Lima, Peru, we are preparing two days activities!

We will post the schedule on thursday, we will have presentations from peruvian community, United States, Argentina, Mexico and Spain too.

Bye,

Thank you for your answers.

But I would like to know if I can mention that 'sixty countries' (like it was in 2010), or  'llittle under hundred' or 'over a hundred' countries' are involved.

So it does not have to be precise.

Just for the record, we're now over 100 countries!

The INASP/UNESCO Open Access Week competition has awarded grants to participants from 7 developing countries. Tthis competition drew responses from 12 developing countries and all participants were planning activities which would take place without the grant, the grant was intended to enhance the existing plans.

I want to know the answer too, I am writthing a article to introduce the open access week, the number is the most persuasive. Not only the number of countries, but also of institutions, organizations, etc.  So perhaps openaccessweek.org should have a registration service?

At this time it looks like BlogEngine is the preferred blogging platform out there right now. (from what I've read) Is that what you're using on your blog?
