Event Description

Open Access: What it is, What it Means for you & Why You Should Care.

The ways in which knowledge is created and exchanged is evolving. Many international funding agencies, including Canada’s federal Tri-Agencies have implemented policies requiring awarded research publications and data to be made freely accessible online to the widest possible audience.

The aim of this panel session is to explore knowledge exchange and exposure from different angles, including authors from various disciplines, publishers, funders, research administrators, open science advocates and librarians.

This event is open to Queen's University faculty, staff and students.
