Event Description

Based on a recent survey on faculty’s research needs, a key need identified was help in promoting research. Responding to that, Hong Kong Baptist University Library wants to talk about altmetrics, visibility and how researchers can monitor how their publications are being shared and accessed (sandwiches provided)

This library workshop and discussion is for those who want to know more about:

  • žquantification, and how technology is driving it
  • žtools and ways to track publication usage, beyond citation
  • žhow librarians can help you get an accurate picture of your publication use

These workshops are aimed at academic researchers, such as faculty and postgraduate students
