This year to celebrate Open Access Week 2016’s theme Open in Action, Hong Kong Baptist University Library will hold a workshop and discussion on author’s rights and green open access in academic publishing (sandwiches provided)

Library workshop and discussion is for those who want to know more about:

  • žhow to claim more rights over your works, so that sharing your articles does not breach copyright
  • žsigning away your rights may not be necessary
  • žhow librarians can help you know what conditions your publications are under

These workshops are aimed at academic researchers, such as faculty and postgraduate students

This one was a lot of fun, special thanks to Wendy Wong from Taylor & Francis... we reached the limits of possible liveliness when discussing copyright, author's rights and publishing agreements.
