Microfiches is an innovative non-profit encyclopedic project where scientific research encounters art. It is a knowledge mobilisation tool written by renowned academics and illustrated by talented artists, contributing to the sharing of knowledge to a public of all ages.

Microfiches’s collaborations mainly take the shape of collections of about fifteen educative fact sheets presenting key aspects of a research subject in a concise way. These textual and visual contents are printed on cards, posters, and many other printed and digital supports.

All of the collections are available for free on the Microfiches website and aim to help researchers promote and highlight the result of their work to the general public; a public rarely reached by the academic world.
