Open Access Week arrives again this October, and is a time to celebrate all that has been achieved in the previous twelve months.

The Electronic Publishing Trust is a long standing advocate of OA and the difference it can make. As our contribution to this year’s OA Week, we are offering our third annual international award to recognise the impact that individuals can make. My name is Ahuva , I'm a Soldier from Israel, I picked interest on you after going through your short profile and deemed it necessary to write you immediately. I have something very vital to disclose to you, but I found it difficult to express myself here, since it's a public site.Could you please get back to me on (ahuva_01@aol.com) for the more details.
Have a nice day.

Hi Leslie,

Thanks for your comment. I am currently in the UK but Addis Ababa University is coordinating the Open Access Week in Ethiopia and other universities across the country are joining in. All in all, I see there is a lot of optimism and librarians are keen to act now. We will update you the progress soon via Yohannes and others who are doing the ground work there. May be you will visit Ethiopia one day and give a talk.
