Open goes mobile

I just had a look at the Yāna project at Harvard (http://osc.hul.harvard.edu/yana/) and wondered if European university libraries/presses have any similar initiatives.

Yāna offers an open source template for OA journals to use as the basis of their own multi-platform mobile applications e.g. Android, Blackberry, iPhone, etc.

It provides not only information about the journal but also easy navigation, article layout for PDFs and online viewing, and features such as 'Favorite' or 'Share'.

Fantastic blog! Do you have any tips and hints for aspiring writers? I'm planning to start my own website soon but I'm a little lost on everything. Would you recommend starting with a free platform like Wordpress or go for a paid option? There are so many choices out there that I'm completely confused .. Any suggestions? Thanks!
