Event Description

Crafting an intentional online presence is paramount for securing a job after graduation. In this session (intended primarily for undergraduate students), we will discuss the suite of tools available to you—including Twitter, LinkedIn, IUScholarWorks, Google, and a variety of blogging and ePortfolio options—and the strategies you can use to control your online presence and craft an attractive narrative for potential employers and graduate schools. We’ll begin the session by asking you to Google yourself and we’ll conclude with tangible tactics for improving what shows up in your Google search results.
