Event Description

This seminar features presentations by two NUI Galway academics who have an editorial role in journals operating green and gold models for open access:

Dr. Emer Mulligan, Lecturer, J.E. Cairnes School of Business & Economics, member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Tax Administration (Green Open Access).

and

Professor Tim O’Brien, Dean, College of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences; joint Editor-in-Chief of Stem Cell Research and Therapy (Gold Open Access)

There will also be an overview of the National University of Ireland Galway’s Open Access Policy, recently adopted by Academic Council, along with a demonstration of new features available on the ARAN (Access to Research at NUI Galway) system managed by the Library.

The seminar will be held in Room 1001, Hardiman Research Building, National University of Ireland, Galway
