Event Description

Join a group of Ohio University faculty who have experience with open publishing as they share their experiences. From open access monographs to OA journals to creation of open textbooks, our presenters will discuss the practicalities and pitfalls of open publishing.

It will feature short presentations of faculty experiences coupled with a question-and-answer period. This event is sponsored by University Libraries and takes place in Alden Library's Friends of the Libraries Room 319.

Our presenters include:  

  • Jennifer Fredette, assistant professor in the Department of Political Science;
  • Daniel Hembree, associate professor in the Department of Geological Sciences;
  • Martin Mohlenkamp, associate professor in the Department of Mathematics;
  • Kyle Snyder, lecturer in the School of Media Arts and Studies.
