The University of California, Davis Libraries are sponsoring a speaker series for OA Week 2010. These inspiring lectures are open to all. The talks are:

* Catherine Mitchell and Patricia Cruse, California Digital Library: “CDL Scholarly Publishing and Data Curation Services: Tools to Help You Manage Your Research at UC Davis” (Oct. 18, 10:00-12:00pm)

* Dr. Jonathan Eisen, PLoS Biology, “The what and why of 'Open Access' Publishing in Scientific Research” (Oct. 21, 10:00-11:00am)

* Marta Brunner, Open Humanities Press: “The Open Humanities Press: On New Publishing Models in the Humanities” (Oct. 21, 1:00pm-3:00pm)

* John Wilbanks, Science Commons: “The Unreasonable Impact of Open Access” (Oct. 22, 11am-12pm)
