Event Description

Can I publish a paper in a scholarly journal? What happens to my senior thesis after I graduate? What is open access and how does it affect me?

Please join us as we address these questions and more in a panel discussion about open access publishing opportunities for undergraduates. Speakers will include Sarah Pierce (BC '14) and Amanda Stibel (BC '14), editors of On Our Terms, the Athena Center's Undergraduate Journal on Women and Leadership and Barnard's first undergraduate academic journal. Hear Brian Luna Lucero of the Center for Digital Research and Scholarship talk about Academic Commons and how it can help your senior thesis make an impact on campus, and in the world.
